He did it - Kevin Nicks from Oxfordshire now owns the fastest shed in the world! He clocked up an average of 70mph during a challenge in York this weekend. On one run he even topped 80mph | BBC Hampshire & Isle of Wight

What an end to the year. The Fastest Shed only went and won best car of the show @castlecombecircuituk I genuinely couldn’t believe it, there were so many amazing vehicles there, to say it was the most wonderful way to end this year’s show season is an understatement. The Fastest Shed is coming to the end of its journey, yes, it is the end. Please have the sound on when you watch the video. It has been a truly amazing 10 years but I have been contemplating over the last year where is this journey heading? To keep it on the road I will need to do a lot of work to it and I don’t feel that there is anything more to gain. It will still be about for a while longer but I have no long term plans for it.
