South Korea has been projected to grab three gold medals and finish 14th in the medal table at the upcoming Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics.

The U.S mixed doubles curling team of Cory Thiesse and Korey Dropkin lost their two matches on Saturday, first falling to Great Britain's Jennifer Dodds and Bruce Mouat, 6-4, then taking a narrow defeat versus Kim Seonyeong and Jeong Yeongseok o f South Korea in an extra end, 6-5.

No, North Korea is not at the 2026 Winter Olympics. It's not actually because of a ban, though. The North Koreans simply didn't have anyone qualify for these Games. North Korea last competed in the Winter Olympics in 2018.
