Whether digital or analog, Texans will set their clocks forward in just a few weeks as daylight saving time returns. Despite years of debate in Congress and in Austin about ending the twice-yearly clock change, daylight saving time remains in place for 2026.

That means warmer temperatures on the horizon and adjusting our external and internal clocks. The start of daylight saving time will make room for an extra hour of sunlight in the evenings as winter fades away. That also means losing an hour's sleep.
