A day after digging out of an early hole to secure a shootout victory against Notre Dame, Penn State was unable to come away with an extra point against the Irish on Saturday evening. Penn State lost to Notre Dame, 4-3, after Axel Kumlin scored the game-winning goal for the Irish in the first minute of the overtime session.
