How to convert my google takeout Json files to JPG
The json files contain any date, location, and descriptions added in Google Photos The json files can be deleted or merged with the jpgs using a utility such as the one referred to below. The Fixer process is actually more convenient that trying to unzip manually.

The json file will just be the 'raw' tracklog from the device (s), its not the 'interpreted' Timeline. For the most part that timeline viewer is property to Google.
